  • Built a demand forecasting model (Linear Regression + ARIMA) that improved forecast accuracy by ~15% compared to the team's existing manual estimates.

Loan Default Risk Prediction

Trained and evaluated Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost models on 10,000+ loan applicant records to identify prospective default cases. Deployed the final model as an active REST API. Handled extreme class imbalance using SMOTE and tuned hyperparameters via GridSearchCV.

Product Review Sentiment Analysis

Engineered a natural language processing pipeline (text cleaning, TF-IDF, and tokenization sequences) to classify 15,000+ e-commerce product reviews as positive, negative, or neutral. Achieved a peak F1-score of 0.81 for highly imbalanced sentiment classes by implementing Naive Bayes, SVM, and LSTM networks.
